Was going to check out the Peacock for that game but couldn’t get back home in time. Will be definitely checking it out for the next Saturday night home game. Don’t tell anyone, but I have been there to watch the final of that other football code and enjoyed the atmosphere.
As for a website rating the football friendliness of pubs - it sounds like a great idea and would be happy to contribute, especially if it means I get to go to many different pubs.

As you may know my local pub is the Peacock in High St. Northcote which is very football friendly.

I think that it would be an idea to get fans to collect all the feedback from pubs and rate their ‘football friendiness’.

I would be happy to set up a website or blog about it. After all we are customers and if they want our patronage we want to watch football.
