Time to return the favour
Last year when I went up to Sydney to see Melbourne play Sydney FC we were joined by some Central Coast Mariners fans (above). They came along to support Melbourne hoping that Sydney FC wouldn’t win, so that they could claim the minor premiership. Melbourne duly helped out with a 2-2 draw
Now its time to return the favour. After Friday night’s 2-nil victory over Wellington, Melbourne now needs the Mariners to do us a favour and not let Adelaide beat them by more than one goal. Or even better, beat or draw with them so that we can claim the minor premiership and an automatic spot in the ACL. Whilst I won’t be making the trip up north to Gosford to watch them play, I’ll sure to be watching them on the TV and supporting the Mariners for a day.

LOL, Sydney FC fans turned out for the Roar last night.
