Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Just another pissant fanzine

Monday, August 10th, 2009

It seems as it is the season for fanzines to make their debuts, with the previouly mentioned Half-Time Heroes being quickly followed by an Adelaide United fanzine, Because of Pissant Town, which is the creation of Bill Skinner of The Spawning Salmon fame. While it’s not normally in my nature to support anything to do with Adelaide United, anything to do with independent media gets my tick of approval.

Heroic beginnings

If you were at all saddened by the recent news of the demise of my attempt at a fanzine, the84thminute, don’t worry there is a new one that will certainly more than fill the tiny hole that it left behind. It’s called Half-Time Heroes and is the creation of the Nearpost’s Eamonn Flanagan and A Football Story’s Con Stamocostas. The first issue is out now and you can view it here. Enjoy and good luck to the team.
